Q: How often does a Septic Tank need to be cleaned?
A: At least every year to have a good maintenance in your Septic Tanks
Q: Why do I need to clean my Septic Tank?
A: Your Septic Tank has two chambers. The first chamber retains the heavy waste that comes from your toilet. There is an opening to the second chamber where all the water goes and then go into the leach lines(drain filed) that are covered with gravel and dirt, the water flows through the leach line which is then soaked into the gravel and dirt. The maintenance you give to the Septic Tank is to remove the waste before it goes into the second chamber. If you allow the second chamber to get filled with waste the waste will go into your leach lines, that will become clogged and you will have to get a costly new septic system or be cleaning the Septic Tank more often.
